Marcia was born and raised
in Orillia – living here most
of her life with a 14 year hiatus from 1953 to 1967!
She is a graduate of
MacDonald Institute Guelph with
an Honours BHSc degree from U of T (Guelph was
affiliated in those days). She enjoyed a teaching career
at the secondary school and the university level.
She and Murray have
belonged to the Orillia
Naturalist Club since 1994. Both have enjoyed
learning a great deal from the knowledgeable
members of the club and from speakers and outings.
They have 3 wonderful
daughters and 4 busy
grandchildren.
Interests – besides the
environment include
reading, quilting, music, art, travel and golf!
