SOCIAL:     WENDY CASTON

Wendy Caston has joined our executive mid- term to be in charge of coffee –except at the Legion
there are various coffee options from a machine (can be purchased for 50cents). However she does provide
us with cups, juice and cookies, and a welcoming face at the gate.

She arrived in Orillia when she was 5, and lived on Lavallee Crescent (which is near the Couchiching Park,
and was a market garden area at that time). She attended Hillcrest School and ODCVI.

She is a retired school teacher (Mount Slaven, Cumberland beach, Regent Park, and David H Church Schools),
and has 2 children and 1 granddaughter – in Toronto.

Her main interest is in gardening, but she loves all aspects of nature (but not camping).
An interest in nature may be in her genes, since her brother, John Caston, worked for
the MNR out of Coldwater, and was president of the Huronia Woodlot Association.
