Meet at the County Fair Plaza (Zehr’s) parking    lot behind the Zehr’s store unless otherwise indicated.

Non-members are always welcome.

The joint meeting of Huronia area clubs is hosted this year by the Brereton Field Naturalists’ Club,  to be held at :

Alex Mills has spent time studying birds that consume flying insects ('aerial insectivores') and he will speak about the decline of this group of birds, including the peculiar geographic pattern of the decline.

Audubon Christmas Bird Count and Pot Luck Supper

Bird Reports and Pot Luck Supper at Swanmore Hall at 6 p.m. Members and non-members are invited to the annual count. You can be matched with more experienced birders if you wish. A $5 donation from all paricipants is appreciated to support Bird Studies Canada. The Bird Count is organized by Nancy Ironside, Ray Kiff, Ron Reid and Joan Rosebush.

"The Incredible World of Bugs" exhibit coming to Orillia Square from May 27 - 29/10.

 This exhibit toured Ontario last year to great acclaim,
 given it's educational and scientific value. It certainly
 reflects the passion of John G. Powers, a retired policeman,
 and his 50 years of insect study.
